Representatives of the four participating teams were present at the event, Alberto Herreros (Real Madrid), Manolo Flores (Barca), Jordi Marti (Joventut Badalona) and Fernando Moral (Coosur Real Betis).

In turn, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Junta de Andalucia Arturo Bernal claimed the importance of events of this caliber, paraphrasing Javier Imbroda: “In Andalusia we have the vocation to be the home of Spanish sports. This is how it was proposed as strategic plan: to host and host major national and international tournaments, with direct and indirect returns,” he said.
