The Ukrainian Armed Forces have estimated this Monday at about 39,700 the number of Russian soldiers killed since the start of the war, without Moscow providing a balance of casualties.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated through its account on the social network Facebook that during the last 24 hours 180 Russian soldiers have died, before adding that since the beginning of the invasion 1,730 battle tanks have been destroyed, 876 systems artillery and 257 self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launchers.

Thus, it has pointed out that 222 planes, 188 helicopters, 116 anti-aircraft defense systems, 2,832 vehicles and fuel tanks, 15 boats and 719 drones have also been destroyed, while 174 cruise missiles have been shot down.

“The Russian enemy suffered the greatest losses during the last day in the direction of Kramatorsk,” he said, before adding that “the data is being updated.” “Hit the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,” he stressed.

On the other hand, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Army General Staff, Oleksandr Shtupun, has assured that the Russian forces “continue to carry out combat operations” in Slobozhansk “with the aim of keeping the lines occupied and preventing the Defense Forces from advancing to the state border.

“In the direction of Kharkiv, the enemy has fired at our positions from tanks and artillery in Kharkiv, Malinivka, Borshcheva, Ivanivka, Pitmnik, Nove, Ruski Tishki, Petrivka, Dementtivka, Huraivka, Prudianka, Shapovalivka, Rubizhne, Shevelivka, Duvanka, Mospanove, Ruska Lozova and Mijailivka”, has detailed.

Along these lines, he has denounced attacks around Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, while “Ukrainian soldiers repelled assaults in the directions of Berestove and Ivano-Daryivka and in the direction of Verjniokamianka, forcing the invaders to retreat.”

“The enemy is on the offensive around Spirne, where hostilities continue,” said Shtupun, adding that Russian troops have also carried out attacks “aimed at destroying defensive positions” around Bakhmut.
