Two planes have collided this Thursday at the Watsonville Municipal Airport, in California (USA), while trying to land, for which there have been “multiple deaths”.
The incident was reported at 2:56 p.m. local time (11:56 p.m. Spanish peninsular time), as reported by the Watsonville City Council, which has indicated that the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident.
However, for the moment, the authorities have not given more details about the accident, without specifying the number of victims.
“We are grieving this unexpected and sudden loss tonight,” said City Mayor Ari Parker. “I want to express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences,” she added.
