The Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office found the bodies of three men inside a house in the central Roma neighborhood this Sunday afternoon. The authorities have not yet identified the victims, however, they have announced that one of them is an “elderly adult.” The discovery has occurred on Medellin street at the height of Alvaro Obregon avenue. The Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation hand in hand with the Investigation Police and is collecting evidence with witnesses and surveillance cameras to determine if it is a homicide.
The Mexico City Commission for the Search for Persons had issued this Sunday the search records of the actor Andres Tirado and his brother Jorge, aged 27 and 35 respectively, who had been missing since Friday, December 16 and had been seen for the last time alive in the same area where these bodies were found. Therefore, some Mexican media report that two of the bodies correspond to those of the brothers.
Just in October, the Government of Mexico City had announced that in the January-September 2022 Criminal Incidence Evaluation Report that a 50% decrease in high-impact crimes had been achieved in the capital of the country. Among them, intentional homicide fell 60% between December 2018 and September 2022.
