Riots continue in the streets of France. Justifying himself in the murder of young Nahel and given the weakness of a Police overwhelmed by circumstances, the protesters have spent a week attacking establishments, schools and public buildings of the main cities of the country, including the private residence of a mayor.

One of the attacks was perpetuated last night against the court of creteil, a town in the Val-de-Marne (Ile-de-France). According to Le Figaro, around thirty people attacked the courts with pyrotechnic devices, prompting the intervention of the Search and Intervention Brigade (BRI) and mobile gendarmes.

Likewise, the violent demonstrators also they tried to level the building with a mortar -it is not known if it was professional or home-made- that caused a fire in the court and firing with weapons that they had obtained during the urban revolts.

According to Le Figaro, the Créteil public prosecutor’s office has confirmed that these people also erected garbage can barricades near the place before setting them on fire. The Police and the BRI were able to control the situation and the damage was minor, without causing injuries, but the assailants managed to flee without being able to stop them. A guard stayed on site to protect the building.
