In this sense, he has indicated that he had a telephone conversation with the US authorities, who informed him that the Government had signed the document adopting the UNESCO charter.

The measure comes after the organization decided on June 30 to give the green light to the readmission of the United States into the organization. The United States will fund the equivalent of 22 percent of the organization’s budget.
