The Ibex 35 dawns with a fall of 0.1% and defends 8,000 points

The Ibex 35 has opened the session this Wednesday with a fall of 0.1%, which has led the selective to stand at 8,083.66 integers at 9:01 a.m., in a context in which investors will be aware of the price of crude oil before the meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

Specifically, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 100 dollars, with a decrease of 0.5%, while the Texas stood at 93 dollars, after falling 0.5%.

In this way, after closing yesterday with a rise of 0.15%, in a day marked by tensions between China and the United States, the Madrid selective began the session clinging to the psychological level of 8,000 integers.

In the first bars of the session this Wednesday, the biggest falls were noted by Caixabank (-2.9%), Sabadell (-2.75%), Sacyr (-0.95%), Santander (-0.92 %) and Indra (-0.9%), while on the opposite side were Solaria (+1.35%), Grifols (+1.22%), Aena (+0.7%), Iberdrola (+ 0.6%) and Red Electrica (+0.4%).

The rest of the European stock markets opened with falls of 0.4% in the case of Frankfurt, 0.17% for Paris and 0.35% for London.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0169 ‘greenbacks’, while the risk premium stood at 106 basis points and the return on the 10-year Spanish bond stood at 1.974%.
