The Fugees reunite for their final performance

Lauryn Hill brought Wyclef Jean and Braz Michael on stage over the weekend to wow attendees at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, and it may be the last time fans see them together.

The trio make up the hip hop group Fujis and fans have always wanted to see them reunite.

But Michael faces up to 20 years in prison after being convicted in April in federal court in Washington, DC, of 10 felony international conspiracy counts.

He faces multiple charges in connection with a failed plot to help Malaysian businessman Joe Lo and the Chinese government gain access to US officials, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

The Grammy Award winner was charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, witness tampering and acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.

On Saturday, the Fugees performed their classics, including “How Many Mikes,” “Ready or Not,” “Killing Me Softly,” and “Fu-Jee-La.”

They divorced in 1997. In 2021 they announced that they would reunite for a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their formation.

The tour was canceled a few months later because “the ongoing Covid pandemic has made tour conditions difficult and we want to make sure we keep ourselves and our fans healthy and safe,” according to a statement from the group.
