Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag confirmed on Wednesday that Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo will continue with the ‘Red Devils’ as he needs “quality” players for “all” games.

“It’s clear that Cristiano is part of my plans. We need quality players for all the games,” said Ten Hag at a press conference about the continuity of the Portuguese star, one of the names of the transfer market with only one title in the four Premier games played.

In this line, the Dutch coach closed his squad. “The window will end like this. You always have to be alert, but we will go from September to January with this squad. Offensively we needed to strengthen the team,” he added in the preview of the fifth day of the Premier League, which measures Leicester City this Thursday (9:00 p.m.).

Asked about another of the possible departures of the Manchester team, Ten Hag also confirmed the continuity of right-back Wan-Bissaka. Finally, about the Brazilian winger Antony, the new signing of the ‘Red Devils’ for 100 million euros, is still pending bureaucratic issues. “There is an agreement between the clubs, but the paperwork is not done, so I cannot go deeper,” he concluded.
