The IMSERSO has sent some 2.6 million letters this Monday to people who have been accredited to participate in the well-known Social Tourism program that, in its 2022-2023 edition, is about to start. It is, according to the Ministry of Social Rights, a “historic figure”.
The department headed by Ione Belarra has indicated that for this new season 171,494 new accreditations have been received –31.4% compared to the previous season– through the IMSERSO electronic headquarters, and 20,000 in the manual register, up to reach that record of 2.6 million.
From the Ministry they have indicated that the accreditation will be confirmed through the letters sent to the homes of the pensioners and that they will be sent until September 9. After completing this process, the commercialization of the trips will begin, which will take place from September 20 to 24.
