After Persona 5 Royal in October, which can boast of having passed over a million copiesit’s the turn of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden to be honored in a brand new version expected for the January 19, 2023.
More than fifteen years after their first releases, these two Atlus hits, JRPG social life simulatorswill indeed be brought up to date.
Persona: a cult hit series
Released on PS2 in 2006 (2008 in France), Persona 3 experienced a remake named Persona 3 Portable in 2009 (2011 in (France) on PSP.
Persona 4 was also launched on PS2 in 2008 (2009 in France), before being remastered in 2012 (2013 in France) on PS Vita, under the name of Persona 4 Goldenthen in 2020 on pc.
It is these last variations which arrive on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switchas well as on top PC for Persona 3 Laptopand who have just opened their pre-orders on Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC at €19.99 each or as a bundle at €38.99 on Xbox. They will also be available when they launch on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

The next two versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will of course benefit from remastered graphicsbut also other improvements like the choice of difficulty or some language options.
Recall that the Shin Megami Tensei series of Atlus dates back to 1992before taking the name of Persona from 1996 with Revelations: Personaand that it follows the series Megami Tensei released on NES in 1987which is therefore beginning to date.
