Originally a studio rather close to the Xbox and the PC, People Can Fly has been dealing with cross-platform games for the past few years. We owe the studio additional development on the Gears of War series, and even the co-development of the third opus. Now awarded to live-service with participation in Fortnite for Epic, and Outriders for Square Enix, the Polish company will be on its next project, a SF game for the PS5.
It would indeed be the title that was leaked recently on the Web, a futuristic game à la Mass Effect, or, as we said in our previous news, “à la Gears of War” (logical, therefore). In short, a third person shooter in co-development with XDev, under Unreal Engine 5, and whose development is already well advanced. According to the new rumors, PCF is behind the project in secret.
How did the Net investigators discover the story? Quite simply by having analyzed the images disclosed during the leak. On these, a small mention appears in a corner: “RED”. This codename is the one announced by the studio two years ago, with strong similarities: the kind of game, the chosen universe, etc. The title would therefore be a PS5 exclusive. For the moment, all this remains in the state of rumor and we await confirmation.
