News app Post News begins rolling out to iOS devices

The application focused on the dissemination of news ‘without subscription or ads’ Post News can now be downloaded on iOS devices and through its official application store, App Store, although for the moment it is only available in the United States.

The Post website was launched in November last year, in a closed beta version, as a platform that offers access to journalistic content from ‘premium’ publishers paying exclusively for the articles that are read.

At the time of the launch of this closed beta, Post obtained a request to join from 650,000 people on the waiting list, so at the beginning of last April it opened it so that anyone who wanted to could try it.

This application can now be downloaded to all terminals with the iOS operating system, since it is available in the App Store. As it is qualified in this, the iOS version 13.0 or later for your use. At the moment, it is only available in the United States.

It’s worth remembering that, unlike Twitter and its Twitter Blue subscription model, Post proposes that publishers and content creators earn revenue from the micropayments users make each time they access individual news content.

To make these micropayments, Post makes use of the Stripe platform, which allows users to purchase packages containing points. That way, every time they want to read an article, must redeem these points.
