Texas, with a population of almost 30 million inhabitants, is undoubtedly one of the most important areas for national and international artists who want to boost their career or relaunch it.
It is one of the states that receives the most music and film festivals per year, highlighting Levitation, Austin City Limits, SXSW, Illfest and Utopiafestevents that welcome millions of people from all over the world.
Being a state that has set and inspired several of the most memorable films in history, Texas is home to one of the biggest events in the world of film and music, South by Southwest (SXSW), which takes place in Austin every March.
The city will also host the now classic Austin City Limits, a massive event that opens the doors to more than 100 musical groups in no more than nine stages.
Likewise, Texas is gearing up for the Austin Blues Festival 2023 on Saturday, April 29, and it will take place at the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park.
The Austin Blues Festival will feature artists such as Los Lobos, Booker T Stax Revue, Robert Randolph Band, Adrian Queseda’s Jaguar Sound, BLK ODYSSY, Glorifying Vines Sisters, CJ Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band, DJ Raquiqui and DJ Mahealani.
Pleasant for the whole family, with the possibility of camping and having free parking, the UTOPiAfest is one of the festivals that has gained more strength in Austin and that will take place on May 5 and 6.
Austin monopolizes a large part of the musical events in Texas, which is why it will also take place from April 27 to 30 on levitation festival and that in its third it will highlight Hispanic rhythms and artists.
The artists that will perform on the first day of the Levitation festival are: Toro y Moi, Yves Tumor, Crumb, Mdou Moctar, Automatic, Acid Mothers Temple, Annabelle Chairlegs, Being Dead.
The second day: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Angels, The Raveinettes, Night Beats, Acid Dad, Wine Lips, Daiistar, Hey Cowboy.
On the other hand, emerging artists and bands also have their space in the Fort Worth Music Festival which seeks precisely to boost the careers of its participants. In addition, dozens of agents come to this event in search of new stars.
The Fort Worth Music Festival will take place from Thursday, March 2 to Saturday, March 4 with more than 40 artists spread over the three days.
Thursday: Dusty Moats, Saints Eleven, Jacob Armitage, Race Ricketts, Midnight River Choir, Shaker Hymns, Tejas Brothers, Josh Weathers, and a Texas Independence Day Jam with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Radney Foster, Michael Martin Murphey, Deryl Dodd, Dave Perez & Larry Joe Taylor.
Friday: Randy Brown, Jake Bush, Nick Brumley & Presley Hailie, Graycie York, Jake Castillo Trio, Prophets & Outlaws, Max & Heather Stalling, Cameron Wrinkle, Gary P. Nunn, Roger Creager, and Treaty Oak Revival.
Saturday: Honey, Kerri Lick, Amanda Kate Ferris, Angel White, Jake Odin, Tommy Alverson, Jesse Jennings, Jack Barksdale, Courtney Patton, September Moon, Larry Joe Taylor, Johnny Falstaff, Jarrod Morris, Stoney LaRue, Davin James, Mike Ryan , and THEBROSFRESH.
