More than twenty soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been injured after colliding the bus in which they were traveling this weekend through Latvian territory.

Early reports suggest that Ukrainian troops were aboard a coach chartered by the Estonian Army when it collided head-on with a truck in northern Latvia on Saturday.

The driver of the vehicle, an Estonian citizen, has died, while there are three seriously injured and 23 others with minor injuries, according to Latvian rescue services.
