LG has introduced a new panel high resolution 12 inch stretchable that uses microLED technology, whose flexibility allows its use on curved surfaces.

The prototype shared by the South Korean company has a size of 12 inches that can stretch to 14 inches. To do this, they have used a film-like substrate made of a special silicon used in contact lenses.
The light source comes from screen technology microLED, with pixels smaller than 40 microns. It offers, according to the company, a resolution of 100ppi and RGB in full color, as stated in a press release.
The company details that the versatility of this type of panel allows its application in curved surfacessuch as skin, clothing or furniture, cars and planes.
