Jose Enrique “Kike” Cruz completes his work at TeleOnce

Almost a year and a half after the creation again of the News Department in TeleOnce, advisor and consultant Jose Enrique “Kike” Cruz culminated its mission and objective with the channel.

Two weeks ago, the veteran news director decided to end his employment contract with TeleOnce as an advisor to the channel for their respective newscasts and the different news editions. Cruz was the one who determined end your employment relationship with Liberman Media Group, TeleOnce confirmed to The new day.

In fact, the term of Cruz’s contract had ended, but the veteran ex-journalist continued to work as a consultant. Cruz was recruited out of retirement by Lenard Liberman, president of Liberman Media Group, to work directly with Vice President of News Jenny Suarez.

Cruz had retired from the small screen and journalism after 42 years at Wapa Telvision where he worked as a reporter, anchor man, director and news vice president. Suarez and Cruz worked together on Wapa Television.

Cruz set a Guinness World Record for the longest career as a television news director.

His time at TeleOnce, as he had anticipated in interviews last year, right at the beginning of the new newscasts, had expired time since he had come to create and give life to the news project for channel 11. He outlined and created the entire strategic montage of the formats of “The News”.

As reported in other digital media, Cruz accepted another new job offer with the Latin American Information Alliance (AIL), an organization made up of 22 television networks, including WAPA Television.

Currently TeleOnce continues with its four editions of “Las Noticias”. The newscast is moderated by figures such as celimar adames, Ricardo Curras, Deborah Martorell, Nuria Sebazco Y Shirlyan Rodriguezaccompanied by a group of journalists made up of Manuel Crespo, Luis Aymat, Luisa Benitez, Jaimiebeth Gonzalez, Wilmarie Mena, Elsa Velazquez, Liam Rodriguez Y Orlando Cruz. Likewise, it has an investigative team made up of Tatiana Ortiz, Melissa Correa Y Arnaldo Rojas.
