Instagram allows companies and creators to schedule publications in the application itself

Instagram has announced a post scheduler in the application itself, which will allow users to plan their publications without having to resort to other apps like Creator Studio (from Meta) or third-party services.

The platform would thus facilitate programming, within the application itself, ‘reels’, photos and carousels within up to 75 days. something that is already rolling out for content creators and businesses.

To schedule content, users no longer have to go to Creator Studio or other apps, as they can access this feature through the option ‘Advanced configuration’ once they have created their publication and go to share it.

Within this configuration, they will have to click on ‘Schedule this post’ Y determine the time and date in which you want to share the content. The next step would be to choose the desired publication and click on ‘Schedule’.

In addition, scheduled publications can be seen in the section ‘Scheduled content’ which can be accessed via the dropdown menu within the user’s profile.

As Instagram clarifies, the function will be available for registered users as companies and content creatorsbut it is unknown if in the future it will be a possible option for common users.

On the other hand, the Meta platform has also launched a ‘Achievements’ feature for ‘reels’. This implementation also intended for creators try to go unlocking achievements by performing certain actions specific.

These actions could vary between collaborate with another profile creator or create interactive ‘reels’ using surveys and questionnaires. The creation of more than one ‘Reel’ a week will also be awarded. Thus, the app will notify creators when they have achieved one of the ‘Achievements’ and will also report how many more ‘Achievements’ they can earn.

“We released ‘Achievements’ to reward the effort creators put into their ‘Reels’ that they are testing worldwide”, added Instagram in an explanatory ‘post’ on its social network.
