Indra will pay this Tuesday, July 12, a cash dividend of 0.15 euros on account of the 2021 results, the first it has distributed for eight years.

The Spanish listed company had not distributed a dividend since July 8, 2014, when it paid its shareholders 0.34 euros per share.

In total, the company will pay practically 26.5 million euros to its shareholders, with the State Industrial Participation Company (SEPI) as the main recipient with 6.6 million euros.

After SEPI, Fidelity will be the second largest recipient with €2.5 million through FMR. It is followed by SAPA Placencia, who will receive 1.3 million euros, and Josep Oughourlian, who will receive one million euros through his participation in Amber Capital.

The company arrives at the dividend distribution after having convinced the market with its new announcements about the firm’s governance, which has led, for example, Oddo BHF to go from a neutral recommendation to advising its clients to overweight Indra in their wallets.

The firm has announced that it will submit the appointment of the new independent directors to an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in which the number of board members will be set at 14, with at least 50% independent and without the chairman’s casting vote.

Likewise, Indra has reinforced the governance model of a non-executive chairman and a CEO.

Since this Wednesday, the firm’s titles have scored 8.67% in the last sessions to start the week at 9.4 euros, compared to the 0.7% rise of the Ibex 35 in the same period.
