Google messages now allows you to reply to specific messages in its web version

The application Google messages has been updated to enable a feature that allows you to reply to specific RCS messages, a feature that is already available on Android terminals.

As 9to5Google recalls, until now users could copy or delete a text, in addition to reacting to it with an emoji, hovering over a certain message.

However, there was no possibility of responding to one in particular, as platforms such as WhatsApp either Facebook Messengerin which you have to press on that message to answer.

This portal has recently verified that Google has introduced the ability to reply directly to RCS messages from the Desktop version (PWA) and that, when it is done, the cht shows the indicative ‘Reply to message’ above the text field, this is, a look very similar to what Android already has.

It should be remembered that this is not the only functionality that Google has worked on for its messaging service, which in recent months has added end-to-end encryption for group chats and a AI based writing assistant.
