We’ve been talking about it for a long time and yet FromSoftware, which has just been crowned for Elden Ring, had never yet taken the time to come and satisfy the fans by making it official. What is now done: the Armored Core series will soon include a new opus.
The sixth opus is announced
Absent since 2013, the saga therefore returns to us with the one that FromSoftware has named Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The action will thus take place on Rubicon 3, a planet which has been the prey of a catastrophe of a certain magnitude. The cause: an energy that was supposed to take humanity one step further along the path of progress. Instead, disaster has set in, plunging the star and its surroundings into a sea of fire. However, the substance that caused this cataclysm is no less coveted, because, 30 years after the desolation it brought, organizations are engaged in a merciless struggle to be able to get their hands on it.
Here’s the background for this new mecha game. And that’s all we’ll settle for for now. There are certainly some images, but they do not give any view of the title itself. It is therefore on a promise to provide a new “action experience” that the announcement of this creation orchestrated by Masaru Yamamura, who succeeded the one who had initiated the project: Hidetaka Miyazaki, was made.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is expected for the current 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
