The authorities of France and Romania have signed an agreement on Monday to facilitate the export of grain from Ukraine by land in the midst of the Russian invasion of the territory.
“Today, together with my Romanian colleague, Ionel Skriostianu, I have signed an agreement that facilitates the export of grain through our logistics,” said the French Minister of Transport, Clement Beaune, through his Twitter account.
Thus, he has transferred his support and “total solidarity” to the Ukrainian authorities on behalf of the French people. The signing took place in the presence of the Ukrainian ambassador to France, Vadim Omelchenko. As he explained, the agreement will allow Ukraine to supply a larger amount of grain to Europe and developing countries.
