After a week under the reign of God of War Ragnarok, Nintendo returns to the front of the stage and imposes itself in the new classification of physical sales established by the SELL. A virtual monopoly that Big N owes to a single game (or rather duo): the two new Pokemon Scarlet and Purple.
Pokemon alone in the lead
If last week God of War Ragnarok won the first two places, in its PS5 and PS4 versions therefore, we must now see it close to the bottom of the ranking alongside FIFA 23. Still there, the last title made in EA actually grabs fifth place. And unlike the big success of Santa Monica, for the historic box of the famous football game license, it is under its PS4 copy that it continues to show itself.
Unsurprisingly, the top of the top goes to the last two Pokemon. A result that therefore adds a little more weight to the success that crosses these new episodes, which have easily imposed themselves in Japan and in the rest of the world. Thus, in France, Pokemon Violet occupies the throne just in front of Scarlet. As for the third position, it goes to the pack combining the two editions of the game.
A domination of Pokemon therefore. Now it just remains to be seen how long it will last. Is it just temporary? Or should we expect to see him for quite a while? Answer in the next few weeks.
