The conditions in which the Russian reservists would be sent to the combat front in Ukraine would now be even worse than those of the first soldiers deployed, which “were already bad”, according to the United Kingdom Intelligence services, which have warned that there is a growing black market for bulletproof vests.

British Intelligence has already warned that the reservists called up in recent weeks had to take their own first aid material and now, “probably”, they are also asked to acquire a bulletproof vest, in particular the 6B45 model.

This material could be found on the Internet in April for about 12,000 rubles (about 197 euros), but the price has already shot up to 40,000 rubles (657 euros), according to the United Kingdom authorities, who prepare their own reports on the evolution of the conflict in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered in September a partial mobilization of reservists with whom he hoped to call up some 300,000 more people. On Friday, he explained that the activities linked to this mobilization will end in about two weeks.
